More recent information about this topic: New Core Configurator

When I first saw Windows Server 2008 Core version (no GUI elements) stated that it was not for me ... but learning about its features and the possible use still could not see how to set up and the time it takes to really configure the server . A similar opinion was expressed the other people involved in testing new features of Windows Server 2008.

Recently I discovered a tool to facilitate the work of the "stripped down" version - Server Core Configurator written by Guy Teverovsky. Below are screenshots of the tool and a link to download the application.
