More recent information on this topic: New Core Configurator

When I first saw Windows Server 2008 Core version (no GUI elements) stated that it was not for me ... but getting to know its characteristics and possible use I still could not see to how to configure and work time which is needed to well configure the server . A similar opinion was expressed the other persons involved in testing the new functionality of Windows Server 2008.

Recently I discovered a tool to facilitate the work of the "stripped down" version - Server Core Configurator written by Guy Teverovsky. Below are screenshots of this tool and a link to download the application.
